Scottish Standard Distance Championships - 28th August 2016

t was the Scottish Standard Distance Championships at Lochore Meadows, hosted by ERC Tri and eleven members of Perth Tri Club were there for the race. Calm conditions saw the triathletes off for the 1500m swim and the sun came out for the 38km bike and 10km run legs. Once again, there were podium places across the categories from Perth Tri Club members and well done to Laura, Fabienne, Gillian, Mike and Barclay.

Ross Kennedy (had to opt for an aquathlon due to a running injury, however Ross put in strong swimming and bike legs, 23mins 52secs and 1hr 13mins 02 secs respectively and was well up the field for both, good luck for the recovery!)
