Perth Triathlon Club is an affiliated club of Triathlon Scotland. The club ethos is very much on training with like minded people, to enjoy and develop your love of triathlon.  Whether you're an absolute novice looking for a challenge, or an Ironman veteran looking to improve their PB, we welcome all abilities.

Training at the moment takes place every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. 

During the warmer months we also have access to Loch Ore for open water swimming and we’re hoping that in the not too distant future we’ll have some run training on the go as well.

A typical week's training would at the moment is:

  • Monday:  Coached swimming, 4 lanes (25m pool) Session 1 - 8pm to 8.45pm, Session 2 -  8.45pm to 9.30pm (please see here for details  as sessions are split by ability)
  • Tuesday: Turbo sessions (winter months)
  • Wednesday: Coached swimming, 4 lanes (25m pool) Session 1 - 7.30 pm to 8.30pm, Session 2 -  8.30pm to 9.30pm (please see here for details  as sessions are split by ability)
  • Thursday:
  • Saturday: Turbo sessions (winter months)
  • Sunday: Group bike ride

As well as the ‘club sessions’, members often hook up and organise further training themselves... there will always be someone to push you harder!
