Peter takes on Glasgow Uni Aquathlon 2019
We had a solo club member Peter Etheridge brave the Spring weather by taking on the Glasgow University Aquathlon last weekend. A pool based 750m sprint swim with a 5km run on footpaths in Bellahouston Park. Peter completed the event in a time of 41:44.8 and placed 61st overall out of 109 participants and 16th in the Male Senior category. Peter reported the following regarding the run route ‘wet, windy and bleep bleep of a hill!’
